HI!

My name is Kassidy Hudson and I am a journalist, filmmaker, and multimedia storyteller. As of June 2025, I have been pursuing my Master of arts in specialized journalism from the university of southern california’s Annenberg school of communication and journalism.

I received my Bachelor of science in digital video and cinema from james madison university in harrisonburg, virginia. my long-term career goal is to combine my love for digital production with journalism to explore the world around us, and find creative and interesting ways to tell stories.

While working towards my masters degree, i am working as a segment editor for usc’s documentary series, impact, to put together episodes that will air on spectrum news 1. additionally, i work as a producer at annenberg radio news.

it is my goal to constantly find new stories, as well as the best ways to tell those stories. to me, there is nothing more powerful than when words, video, and audio are put together in intricate and unique ways to share human stories that stimulate connection and understanding.
